Escape from Ever After is a unique RPG inspired by the classic Paper Mario series. The game takes players to a fairytale world invaded by a greedy megacorporation from the real world, exploiting magical stories and characters for cheap labour.
Players step into the shoes of a newly “employed” storybook hero, tasked with climbing the corporate ladder, exposing the company’s secrets, and stopping its destructive agenda. The journey calls for bravery, cleverness, and the will to face bureaucracy and powerful enemies.
On the path forward, the hero rallies other disgruntled “employees” – characters from different tales who lend their unique abilities and perspectives to the fight. Teamwork becomes the foundation of victory.
